Finally received the 2013 Nexus 7 in the mail today (thanks +Jeremy Meiss). As reported by various DSLR Controller users, USB host did not work. Strangely - it does work for a small number of other users.

Just a maintenance update fixing 4.3 OTAs and OTA survival mode. Also a bugfix regarding environment variables that weren't copied to the daemon.

So, before Android 4.3 came out and ruined my pre-holiday week and schedule, this is what I was working on. It's now less finished than I had hoped it would be before I leave, but it's already quite usable.

Another day another update - and unless some major issues arise, quite likely the last one until September.

There's been a lot of talk about the nosuid flag on mounts, that this prevents Android apps from executing things like su. While in the standard su setup this is certainly true, it doesn't really matter, and isn't the big reason SuperSU went daemon/proxy.
