Hey pal... I had the same problem... This might help.

Go to settings > storage > press menu key and select usb connection type. And then change it to MTP. If it does help don't forget to +1 this :-D

Well mine is 4.0.4 then it might be slightly different. I normally go to Settings then Storage. Press menu key on my phone and choose "usb computer connection". Then i can chose the type of usb connection established. If you can't reach this menu option then you can use the key work MTP menu in 4.0.3 and Google it. I'll let you know if i can find out any time soon.
