Good job Jorrit

Marcio Torres commented on 2012-06-05 at 00:33:

Perfeito, meu N7000 agora sem esse maldito triângulo amarelo, e de quebra zerou o contador. Parabéns Chainfire!

alessandro pallaria commented on 2012-06-05 at 05:46:

I have done and work good in download mode. The counter was reset but under system info/status the corrente status is always modified instead of normal . Sorry fior bad english

Jacky chen commented on 2012-06-05 at 06:08:

System info/status => modified   not normal  +1

alessandro pallaria commented on 2012-06-05 at 06:13:

I think that is neccessary reflash the origina fw after reset procedure and all return normal

Chainfire commented on 2012-06-05 at 11:06:

+Jacky chen +alessandro pallaria  Correct. If you return the device for warranty, you need to reflash a full stock firmware and do a wipe. You already need to do this because they check for root apps (unless the device doesn't boot, in which case it doesn't matter anyway).

Once you have "restocked", this value returns to "Normal". I'm not doing any work for Triangle Away to change this value under Settings. It is outside the scope of Triangle Away, and all that matters is the values in download mode.

That being said, it may well be possible in the future the download mode status cannot be fixed anymore either :(

I don't understand Manufacturers. Why the hell they spend their times to make devices unrootable, instead of making them unbrickable :@

Jacky chen commented on 2012-06-05 at 13:25:

thank you very much.

good job

Howard Hodges commented on 2012-06-07 at 21:55:

I have also bought the app, but it dosn't find a code on my rooted I9100, WHY

Lorenzo Bellinazzo commented on 2012-06-08 at 13:38:

Hello Chainfire,

About info status you said that is " Correct. If you return the device for warranty, you need to reflash a full stock firmware and do a wipe."

So.. which wipe we have to do?

Because "wipe cache" doesn't works... and status stay Modified

Chainfire commented on 2012-06-08 at 15:59:

+Howard Hodges It needs to reboot into a special mode I think. Press the "Reset flash counter" button.

+Lorenzo Bellinazzo You need to do a full factory rest. Full wipe of all data.

Lorenzo Bellinazzo commented on 2012-06-08 at 16:12:

thanks a lot ;-)

Martyn Britton commented on 2012-06-11 at 21:27:

Keep up amazing work. Android wouldn't be the same without you. It would still be better than iphone garbage and symbian Anna or belle or ^3 or whatever the hell Nokia failed company calls there os these days. Thanx

Martyn Britton commented on 2012-06-13 at 06:23:

+Howard Hodges maybe depends on which variant of the i9100 you have. There are several. I'm not sure if this would be an issue

Jorge Luis Irala Lascano commented on 2012-06-15 at 10:30:

Thank you it worked like a charm

Errikos Stavrinos commented on 2012-07-08 at 14:25:

In need of urgent help. I made a terrible mistake and in order to the remove yellow triangle from my Samsung Galaxy S 2 I have flashed the wrong firmware, one intended for Galaxy Note GT-N7000 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1354888&highlight=screen+black . Everything seems to be working with the exception that now whenever I start up the screen of my SGS2 remains off (BLACK) until the point I have to set my pin. My SGS2 is rooted and I have UHLPS NeatRom Full (Build date: Tue Jun 12 201, Modem: UHLPG, CSC: AROLP4, CF-Root v5.5 UHLPK). Whenever I enter the DOWNLOAD OR RECOVERY MODE either using the three buttons or CWM Manager the screen turns off (is black) but the mode seems to work– if I run ODIN I receive an error message. Also CWM Manager seems to beworking, I used it to restore data. Can you please help me because I am out of my wits? I have no idea how to repair this black screen error.

Jorge Luis Irala Lascano commented on 2012-07-08 at 16:33:

+Errikos Stavrinos did you tried wiping cache and dalvik?

Errikos Stavrinos commented on 2012-07-09 at 02:37:

+Chainfire Hello C, long time no talk. You think you could add the GT-N5110 to the compatible devices? The mount points, tables & partitions are IDENTICAL to the Note 10.1 model GT-N8013. I have successfully built a CWM recovery using the Note 10.1 source & even the later (MC5/6) kernels will boot on the WiFi Note 8. Is there any info or data I can help you assemble to make it easier a task?

Chainfire commented on 2013-04-18 at 07:10:

+George Leon I'll take a look at this next week, can you please post this info in the XDA thread ? I'll review that thread when I start adding more devices again.
