It's a pretty lengthy article, but I found it pretty easy to do. Other guides I had found didn't quite work for me, or compromised on things I did not want to compromise on, so here's how I did it, should anybody care.

I'm still not sure why I would use Win7: if I bother setting up my Mac to dual-boot, it would by a Linux distro on the other side. My Mac already has one closed-source OS on it; it doesn't need another.
HELP: I recently updated my galaxy s3 which was previously rooted. The super user icon is still present but no longer works, ow can I re root please
+lionel lawrence that's not related to this post. I am not tech support. You have been able to root it before - just root it again.
+James Mason it's no use talking to me about closed source vs open source. I simply don't care about the argument (life's too short, and all).
Again, various articles on the net explain how to do this, but always with some drawback I don't want. So there's enough people wanting to do this, hence the article.
If you like to install a different OS, great... in this instance, Windows 7 is the most practical for me.
