This version can also flash OTA and Update ZIPs - live patching them to get around common problems like having the wrong modem or CSC flashed for the OTA.

GT-I9100P not supported, pfff I want to use it, I hope one day I will and this day I'll say to myself that I'm happy cause I didn't buy it for nothing ;-)

Patrick Rooney commented on 2012-09-01 at 09:39:

Just tested the ota update, worked a charm only thing is that mobile Odin seems to have lost it title and icon after getting injected - could be my bad as was only a update probably didn't need to have inject mobile Odin ticked. CM10 oniontoaster

I had bought this.. just to show support to dev. But recently acquired Google Galaxy Nexus, my first Sammy device. Absolutely priceless tool. Thanks for the update.

Brad Baker commented on 2012-09-02 at 08:45:

"flash OTA and Update ZIPs" THIS is a big deal. Nice work!

Feature Suggestion (or perhaps this is even possible):

  • Being able to flash an Google official image via Mobile ODIN.

(I understand some modifications would need to be made to the package by Mobile ODIN)

^To me that just about makes it a perfect app.

Chainfire commented on 2012-09-02 at 11:14:

+Brad Baker Yes this is possible, you just need to unzip the image first. Since last version, Mobile ODIN will offer to do this for you, if you use "Open file..." on a non-update ZIP.

+Dave vd Eerden Yes, that's what it's meant for !

Dre Deldjette commented on 2012-09-02 at 15:30:

Miserably failed...

I bought today Mobile ODIN  v3.25

I put on my SDcard  N7000XXLRK_N7000DBTLRK_N7000XXLRK_HOME.tar.md5

and started Mobile Odin. No problem mentioned to that point.

The SGN keeps rebooting, getting black and rebooting again.

Same with recovery boot and normal boot.

The firmware was a GingerBread LA6 rooted with

CF-Root-SGN_XX_SER_LA6-v5.0-CWM5.zip

The Note has the eMMC bug .

Any advise ?

(no phone, no DSLR controller, ...)

Chainfire commented on 2012-09-02 at 15:41:

+Dre Deldjette Did the flash itself fail ? That would be a very rare occurrance indeed. Case like these are usually solved with a wipe data/cache.

Dre Deldjette commented on 2012-09-02 at 16:09:

The flash seemed to work with the  different steps messages.

Just the reboot started to loop.

I don't have control on the phone any more.

The only thing it does when rebooting manually is to propose downloading, then there is a first red line with "ODIN MODE" and it says "Downloading..." forever.

Michael Rousseaux commented on 2012-09-03 at 16:41:

I had a I9100. He's broken. I buy à I9100G but not supportés :-(

Chainfire commented on 2012-09-03 at 17:44:

+Dave vd Eerden +Spring Benson I'm trying to reproduce this, have flashing said OTA several times without any problems on my S3.

Does this work on Samsung galaxy note sgh-i717

Fabian Clercin commented on 2012-09-03 at 18:39:

Plz disregard I saw the list of handheld it works on

Gary Jamieson commented on 2012-09-03 at 21:33:

Question: I downloaded the lite version so that I could do a dump for my device (GT-i5510m "callisto") to hopefully get support later on.  Do I need to submit the txt file manually somewhere or is it sent to the dev automatically?

Thanks!

Chainfire commented on 2012-09-04 at 13:02:

I will not be adding further to support to any RFS-based devices, sorry.

Tom Hall commented on 2012-09-04 at 13:47:

Just flashed I9100BVLPH_I9100TMULPH_TMU with MO 3.25 Pro - I checked the boxes for Injecting EverRoot / SU, and didn't see any errors during the flash, but afterwards, I don't see any icons for SU / CWM / MO - is there a log file anywhere that might indicate what went wrong ?

Dong Hyun Hong commented on 2012-09-04 at 23:17:

Thankyou to update this awsome app. But I want you to make SHV-E210S(GALAXYS3LTE SKtelecom(South Korea version) to work at this awsome app in next update. If you update and make SHV-E210S works, then i'd like to buy it. Thanks to read this message

Encounter problem here for N8000. Icons miss on the home screen flashing with mobile odin pro. Kies can't recognize it as well. With pc odin, no problem.

Marcos Paulo commented on 2012-09-10 at 08:21:

After this update I can't seem to keep root access After flashing stock firmwares. Is there a way to get there previous versions somewhere?

Marcos Paulo commented on 2012-09-10 at 08:43:

Tom Hall commented on 2012-09-11 at 07:25:

v3.30 seems to have fixed the non-rooting problem - thanks CF !

julien arribat commented on 2012-09-11 at 19:58:

I have a question, why does the GT-I9100P not supported ? Is there big différences with GT-I9100 ? Will you make GT-I9100P compatible in futur ?

julien arribat commented on 2012-09-17 at 10:22:

Thx for the response, that make me happy to give you my money...

Joseph Kang commented on 2012-09-26 at 05:45:

Could you please support SHV-E210S? (Korean SGS3 variant)

Actually I'm a donated user and uploaded the dump info onto xda thread long time ago.

Joseph Kang commented on 2012-09-26 at 05:49:

Additionally as I wrote on the thread, SHV-E210S is actually same with GT-I9300 so I'm currently use Mobile Odin with changed build.prop as ro.product.model=GT-I9300 instead SHV-E210S
