A minor update, its main feature is fixing compatiblity of the su binary with new Samsung I9500 and I9505 firmwares.

Additionally, the nagging for free users (asking to consider purchasing Pro, appended to one out of every twenty notifications)  has been disabled again. It has served it's purpose for now: reminding long time users that Chainfire runs on beer, and beer is not free. Probably it'll get turned on again for a month or so next year. Maybe not.

Changelog

  • Updated binary to work on some newer Samsung firmwares

  • Nagging has done its job for now - disabled again

  • Added backup script and CWM SU files to full unroot file removal

  • Added option to remove other superuser apps

  • Updated languages files

So I have to waste a beer on you? Christ, I hate nagging.

(I didn't know there was a pro version, just bought it)

Has anyone experienced charging problems after rooting?

Andrew Sorensen commented on 2013-05-21 at 18:25:

+David King flash the stock image and then root, that should fix the problem if not try a different charger as they wear out every now and then.

David King commented on 2013-05-21 at 18:51:

+Andrew Sorensen cheers I'll give that a go, strange it only started after I rooted, sometime will charge ok other times very slowly

Hah, I didn't even get the notice the nag, i pretty much bought the pro version immediately after I tested the free one works. And did the same for StickMount.

CF is well deserving of BEER! I've paid for most of his apps considering his efforts have saved my devices from demise on many occasions!

Leonardo R. commented on 2013-05-22 at 12:34:

+Joao Pinto I think it's not a place for such question. Have you tried xda forum?

Andrew Sorensen commented on 2013-05-22 at 18:00:

+David King another thing is not to drain your battery below 5% as it will take twice as long to charge

thanks !

I say, nag all the time. It's not like you're charging ten bucks for the pro. It's a couple dollars! Well worth the money, for a well-deserved developer.

John Munn commented on 2013-06-06 at 06:31:

There's no better SU app to this day! I think it should be a paid app no matter what it's not like your a asking for to much. Anyone that uses SuperSU and hasn't went pro is just a cheapskate and dont deserve to have the app in the first place. Support your dev!!!!!

Hey chainfire I am from Trinidad and Tobago I own a note 2 after rooting I am unable to use a bluetooth device can u help with this problem?

Andrew Sorensen commented on 2013-06-14 at 03:12:

+King Jojo try flashing stock image and rooting as sometimes depending on the type of recovery you use things don't work properly after rooting. I have had similar problems and have had success with this method.

Just a comment, I dont know anything about this rooting thing this is how I bought the phone its a galaxy note 2, but my auto screen rotate doesn't work and I wanted to know why..?? Thanks

John Munn commented on 2014-06-07 at 00:10:

Go look for the original firmware for the phone then flash it back to og and you're rotation should work again either that or and so this first check the setting for auto rotate and make sure it's ticked
