Another day, another Triangle Away update

Yes, I'm getting tired of it as well. But the S4 is a tricksy ~~hobbit~~ device and it just keeps on ruining my day.

A major issue with yesterdays release was that it boot-looped / soft-bricked for some users. The problem has been identified, and really I should've seen it coming, d'oh. Anyways, this problem is now fixed, but with that comes the sad news that you will now need to be running a stock Samsung kernel for Triangle Away to be able to reset your counter and binary status. 

That is pretty annoying but there's no way around it for now, without depending on me doing massive amounts of work and creating a maintenance nightmare for myself.

On the plus side, that change might actually cause Triangle Away to be compatible with the AT&T and VZW S4 models. Beware that this has not been tested yet. If you have the balls to try it out, let me know what happens!

Another issue with yesterdays update was that for some people the allow tracker to run feature broke, and if it previously kept the device to official, it now reset to custom. This should be fixed now. If it worked for you (it doesn't for a lot of people) and broke yesterday, it should be working again now.

+Chainfire There is a problem with this update 2.98; a message pop up says "TriangleAway Stopped" when I convert the system language to Arabic on SGS3 GT-I9300; I never get that message in the update 2.96 !

Yesterday I wanted to reset my Flash Counter to 0 but something went wrong and it rebootet the whole time

I had to install a new Firmware because I haven't made a Nandroid backup

I recommend to use 2.90 for S2 and S3. For S4 (and only for those users) use the current version.

Please note that stock kernel is strongly recommended.

+Chainfire  Dude, i dunno if it is possible, but on my S2 (XWLSD, german, PhilZ kernel, rooted) i have problems with syncing with Google account after using latest version. I did not have any with 2.90.

So as i recommended: 2.90 for S2 + S3 (with stock based kernel or siyah), 2.99 for S4 (strongly required stock kernel).

+Andreas Holzschneider  Dude, i just wanted to help. This version is official, you could download it from the xda website before it got updated. I stored it on my phone. No virus, no modification.

I would greatly suggest to add you to my circles so we could help each other. You can scan the APK with the antivirus app of your trust.

hey +Chainfire  nice work with this app, but I have problem with the new version 3.01 of triangle away, when try to reset my flash counter the app say "Status cannot be determined..." when select option reset flash counter and app enter in mode download and restart triangle away say  "could not find triangle and counter data", in new update of sansung i view a new option in "about system" -> Secure boot status "type: Samsung"
