Jarek W commented on 2013-11-02 at 17:16:

Yeah I would like to know if otg is working on nexus 5 or they f**ed things up just like with nexus 4

Josh commented on 2013-11-02 at 17:20:

I'm so dumb. When we met at the BBQ I completely spaced on thanking you for this app, I use it constantly!

Adrian Lee commented on 2013-11-02 at 18:18:

+Jarek W, USB OTG is supported on N4 if you apply a kernel mod and externally power the USB device.. Not by default, but it's something at least! ;)

Jarek W commented on 2013-11-02 at 18:23:

+Adrian Lee that's what I mean by saying they fuck*d up things on nexus 4 :) , I want real otg with power so don't need any external source

Mark Onyx Taggueg commented on 2013-11-02 at 18:47:

+Chainfire Want to ask if stickmount v2.30 will support nexus 4 kit Kat 4.4 otg without external power source?

Aminadab Lugo commented on 2013-11-02 at 19:01:

+Chainfire The new version is now compatible with AT&T LG G2 D800 and is working perfectly. Only problem is I cannot update to the PRO version since that one is not yet compatible with the phone.

Shiv Manas commented on 2013-11-03 at 00:34:

So... Has anyone tried this on a Nexus 5 yet? :)

Jason Doherty commented on 2013-11-03 at 02:01:

He explains in the app description that the Nexus 4 will not work unless there is a work around like the one listed above, it won't matter what build it is because the Nexus 4 just doesn't support it.

Quattro Vageena commented on 2013-11-03 at 04:19:

Got mine yesterday, gotta have to try your great work!!

Chainfire commented on 2013-11-03 at 15:15:

+Aminadab Lugo I adjusted something, check in a few hours for Pro v1.1. That should allow installation.

Mayur Dhaka commented on 2013-11-04 at 02:14:

Its still amazes me how you get your updates out so soon.

Benjámin Baranyi commented on 2013-11-05 at 12:40:

Still not working on 4.2.2 IG-9505...

Ntfs not mounted

Jason Doherty commented on 2013-11-05 at 23:10:

Won't even download for me, well next time then.

Quattro Vageena commented on 2013-11-06 at 23:04:

Well... Downloaded it on my newly bought Nexus 5. A stick is mounted however, the contents in the stick are inaccessible.

Omar Zuberi commented on 2013-11-07 at 17:17:

+Quattro Vageena are you rooted? Won't work otherwise.

Quattro Vageena commented on 2013-11-07 at 17:43:

Yup, rooted the other day after I had it in my hands.

Omar Zuberi commented on 2013-11-07 at 18:19:

+Quattro Vageena hmmm, I just went through the whole setup with mine. Rooted, installed stickmount - it works fine for me. Have you tried a different USB stick?

Daniel Finger commented on 2013-11-11 at 13:25:

On Android 4.4 (Nexus 5 and Nexus 10) I get this behaviour:

ExFAT only readable

FAT32 only readable

On my Nexus 5 sometimes the internal sdcard stops working after unmounting.

Marius Florea commented on 2013-11-12 at 15:06:

I am trying to update my Nexus 7 (2012) Wifi running Android 4.3 Build JWR66Y CWM,  Stickmount v2.31 and SuperSU v1.75 with the Android 4.4 OTA which fails on status 7 system bin debuggerd which I have been reading may be caused by Stickmount. Your apps are always first class so I would appreciate any suggestions that you could provide to remedy this situation. I previously had updated my Android 4.2.2 with Android 4.3 OTA without any problems on this same system.

Thanks

Bob

Not working I'm kitkat nexus 7 tab always showing busy busy busy take an action plssss

Mike G. commented on 2013-12-06 at 00:22:

Maybe a weird question, but can Root Stickmount emulate a pure SD card and thus allow the on-device saving of albums and songs from the new Google Play Music (Released today)?   I'm running a 2013 Nexus 7 which has no external SD card.  Could this work as an emulated card, somehow?

Thanks otherwise for a great tool!

Abid bakshi commented on 2013-12-06 at 03:53:

STILL NOT WORKING V 2.3.1 MINE NEXUS 7 2012 WHN I CONNECT  OTG TO THE TAB AND CLICKIN G TO THE MOUNT (THE MOUNT SERVICE IS BUSY TRY AGAIN IN A FEW SECONDS)

Looks like +Abid bakshi 's cap lock key is stuck in the on position as well - maybe you can help with that too.

Richard de Angélis commented on 2013-12-07 at 18:22:

Thomas Kluge commented on 2013-12-10 at 22:51:

I have the same problem like Abid with Cyanogenmod 11 on my Nexus 7 LTE 2013 - Stickmount says "The mount service is busy..."

Omar Zuberi commented on 2013-12-10 at 23:57:

+Thomas Kluge you shouldn't need stick mount on cm, the USB stack comes built into the ROM

I have a Nexus 7 (2012) running Android 4.4.2 and rooted with SuperSU v 1.86 which I have setup with two user accounts. Stick Mount runs fine on the main account, but in the second account, it gives an error saying "Stick Mount has stopped working" Chainfire or anyone could you please provide a solution to this problem?

Ahmad Zaib commented on 2014-01-03 at 13:27:

Does not work on CM11 Nexus 7 (2013). Shows "Mount service busy"message! :(

Please help...

Omar Zuberi commented on 2014-01-03 at 14:35:

+Ahmad Zaib CM comes with USB stack built in, you don't need stickmount on it.

Ahmad Zaib commented on 2014-01-03 at 14:38:

+Omar Zuberi First I tried without StickMount only. When that didn't work, I installed this.

Have a look at this thread for instance:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2550056

Omar Zuberi commented on 2014-01-03 at 19:54:

+Ahmad Zaib looks like you need to patch your CM ramdisk whatever that is - or install a CM nightly which has the patch included - per the thread you linked.

Ahmad Zaib commented on 2014-01-04 at 03:47:

+Omar Zuberi That thread mentioned that something has changed in CM11 such that the ramdisk patch which was merged earlier is not working anymore.

Can you please guide me to a suitable solution?

Omar Zuberi commented on 2014-01-04 at 04:20:

+Ahmad Zaib cm11 m2 was just released - have you tried updating?

Ahmad Zaib commented on 2014-01-04 at 04:41:

Not yet. Will do that and see if that helps...

Ruzsinszky Attila commented on 2014-01-07 at 07:43:

Is that working with SGSII + Cyanogenmod 10.2 nightly? It doesn't ...

alan carr commented on 2014-07-07 at 09:20:

+Robert Saunders same problem, have you found a solution yet?
