Please make this app compatible for Nikon cameras....

David P. commented on 2013-12-24 at 16:59:

For the Android stuff, how did you get low level enough to communicate? Was looking at this stuff when Froyo was out but had to do comms for a serial board via bluetooth as I didn't see a way of communicating via USB.

Merry Christmas, and looks like another sweet app!

... and Sony NEX. I've been waiting for the day when I can get rid of my 7D. I know support for other brands won't start until support for Canon is out of beta, but DSLR controller has been in beta for quite a long time ...

nice

Adrian C. commented on 2013-12-24 at 19:02:

Shame it needs a cable... WiFi would be soooo much more useful

Chainfire commented on 2013-12-24 at 20:34:

+Adrian Chapmanlaw who says it wont support WiFi (with the right hardware additions) ? But for the video monitor case a cabled setup is interesting for its high fps and low latency - something you just wont get on wireless.

Chainfire commented on 2013-12-24 at 20:35:

+Kam Cheung NEX is unfortunately not as good/available remote control wise ...

Chainfire commented on 2013-12-24 at 20:36:

+Gerald Kuehn just the remote liveview feature may be available soon.

Thank you Chainfire! Since I didn't have to spend extra money on a remote trigger or an intervalometer my son and I are able to have Christmas on the coast shooting thousands of images! (well, we probably would have ended up here regardless)... But, seriously! Thanks for saving me from the frostbite!!
