My download server has been completely hammered the last few days with requests, so I guess there's a lot of new phones out there that needed rooting. As I was celebrating xmas myself with my family I didn't have a chance to do much about it. I have however made some changes now to the caching mechanisms and such, so the downloads should all be back up.

Wow, phones. Never was any gadget under my family's Xmas tree.

Joe Philipps commented on 2013-12-28 at 12:07:

Well, it's good that you could celebrate and relax a bit. Does this mean you plumbing problems have been cleaned up then, +Chainfire? Sounded rather unpleasant when you mentioned it, although as I recall even worse for other apartments.

Chainfire commented on 2013-12-28 at 14:52:

+Joe Philipps Not yet ... floors still need to be replaced. Done fighting with the insurance company though, they'll pay for a decent chunk but unfortunately not all of the cost.

Hey there Chain fire I'm a huge fan! I was wondering if you could help me? I just tried doing the latest install of Jellybomb and I'm using the latest version of TWRP anyway I followed instructions to a T and it acted as if there was no build happening plus it would not let me name my nandroid backup it told me that everything I type was already taken which I know was not true. But every thing said it was successful even though I could tell it was not building. So when I was prompted to reboot I did and nothing just back to my boring stock busybox anyway any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! By the way I'm using a Sprint samsung galaxy note2 sph-l900 Thanks again for your time!

need root my phone.. ^_^ 4.4.1

José Javier Vicente Verdú commented on 2014-01-02 at 22:34:

+Chainfire I don't understand the reason, but my Nexus 7 (grouper) cannot get root. I clean root permision to update to 4.4. To solve a bootloop flash factory image  (only boot.img and system.img). Since then (even after 4.4.1 and 4.4.2 updates), It has been impossible to me to root it. I try with autoroot and flashing SuperSU zip, but nothing works. The app is not been installed and I have no root permisions.

Any solution or sugerence?

Paul Bovenhuis commented on 2014-01-03 at 07:29:

There are some websites who can tell you how to do this and also the links for the software you will need. The only thing you now need to do is read. You also can try a bootable resc.disc specialy for Linux. Try it.

Paul Bovenhuis commented on 2014-01-03 at 07:31:

+Mohd Lukfi

What is the question exactly?

José Javier Vicente Verdú commented on 2014-01-03 at 12:18:

+Paul Bovenhuis I know that I have to read, but I search on Google and I didn't found anything about that. Because of that I'm asking it. I try to search for that. Thanks for the info :)
