Good news everyone, there'll be a Google I/O this year!

I'm happy to see everyone can sign up and those who can go will be randomly selected after the sign-up period. Last year's way of telling you you have a ticket, reserving the amount on your credit card, silently cancelling ten minutes later, and repeating this process several times over, was certainly a frustrating experience.

I'll certainly be trying for a ticket, and hopefully see some of you there!

What is up with this new style of websites Google is doing though?

Good to hear it. Thanks for the update.

It's a parallax design... And I hope to be there with you as well like last year

I love their new web design look. Instead of trying to pack everything in a little space they streamline it and give everything it's own space and purpose. Idk I think it suits the purpose of the site.

I like the look and feel of the io site. Clear and concise information with audio visual toys to play with.

If the site was more static and information heavy it would be less inviting to all creative thinkers. Seen as this is an invitation to sign up in April I think it will do that job very well.

Um, Google announced official I/O 2014 like 2 weeks ago. Where have you been, +Chainfire?

I think he was away on vacation if I recall correctly.
