Amazingly beautiful pictures. :)
I still haven't been to Wat Rong Khun .. too bad it's been partly destroy by earthquake. How about going to south of Thailand next time ?
Been there as well and liked it of course, but your pictures are very good indeed!
+Ronald Valdes the islands and such are the south of Thailand - that's a completely different kind of holiday. Will do that another year!
+WJ Hunsperger +Nontavit Anontwatanawong I did not know that, I am sorry to hear it!
+Chainfire The owner said he will rebuild, but it sure take a long time.
Awesome photos and good to see your taking time out from your Android developing :)
wow awesome pics thank you for sharing them,
greetings from Tijuana Mexico
you are so cool!!!
I've been to Wat Rong Khun last year, it's just extraordinary. Sadly it was recently ruined in an earthquake: http://www.bangkokpost.com/most-recent/408354/exquisite-wat-rong-khun-closed-indefinitely-by-earthquake-damage
ruined?! "The tip of a main structure at Wat Rong Khun was damaged after the quake." quoted from the article you linked.
I remember this beautiful and original temple :) love the painting inside the temple :) remember ?
Ruined in an earthquake !! Ô sadly news..
Why dont you go to vietnam
My wife is Khmer pronounced (Cuh'-my) or Cambodian.. It is a gorgeous country. I've seen a lot of her karaoke movies all produced there. Angor Wat temple is impressive architecture. We are waiting till our kids are a little older to go Visit ...
+Kodin Tent My bad, I had earlier read an article that states it was beyond repair. That article makes the damage sound quite a lot worse than the tip of a structure being damaged. I merely linked to the wrong article for reference. Should have been this one: http://englishnews.thaipbs.or.th/wat-rong-khun-beyond-repair/
+Björn Hutmacher fair enough, its amazing what the mass media publishes.
Always Welcome Back To Thailand;)
5D MK3 in the right hands does true justice.
