Just pushed a minor update to 500 Firepaper (v2.30), to better tailor it to Android TV. It was already working before if you force installed it, but now it has the right size icons, the proper theme, and a lot of options removed.

Yes, a lot of options removed. The history browser needs a work-over to even function properly on Android TV, so I disabled that for now. The entire live wallpaper section has also been disabled as Android TV doesn't support live wallpapers anymore since last update.

So pretty much you just have the core daydream functionality left. IMHO, that still works great though.

I'd like to use the gamepad and remote control buttons to navigate between images, but something appears to be wrong with input handling for daydreams on Android TV, needs some further investigation.

But as my day has run out, and I won't have time to work on it more the rest of the week, I've uploaded it as is.

You should be able to install it to your ADT-1 via the Play website a few hours from now.

EDIT: mini update to v2.31, fixing an occasional black screen issue

I have tried every live wallpaper on the ADT-1, but they wouldn't run because of the daydream. I could catch a second or two off the lwp in between switching apps but that's about it. I will try 500 as soon as it's compatible.

It stopped working for me a week ago haven't updated but weirdly it's been working fine for 2 days now. Awesome auto wallpaper changer thanks hope you work out the kinks

500px borked the account, reinstated now, that's why it didn't work for a week or so

It stops working after a day or so. If I clear the cache and history it doesn't help. If I uninstall and then reinstall it will work for a day or two. What gives?

I just realized that I would have a black screen with the warming that Wifi had to be on and the battery half full. I usual keep the text for the image title of. If I tap the screen once, the title is appearing and it changes! But I don't get to see the image...
