+L PARK Oh its not really a request, its more of a bug report, if you'd call it that. I just let him know it didn't work with 5.1.1 on the note edge, and asked for a fix. I wasn't being impatient or anything though.

I upgraded my Xperia Z3 D6603 to the concept Android Marshmallow. However, system is quite restricted hence I went back to my rooted 5.1.1 with 4.5 slim rom. I tried the beta supersu v2.61 automatic root when I had the Marshmallow concept rom but it didn't work. It said its not available for my device. Is there more updates coming for sony Z3 Marshmallow users?

i ended up going back to stock tw and re rooted on OJ4, bricked it with faulty cable, and then just fac reset my device

overall id say dont Update binary manually on stock tw with root. 

does this block the monthly security updates?

Tried it with the new update. Will not work for Nexus 6. Status code 3 unlocked. run script, prompts user data wipe. agree, prompts unlock, agree, does this whole thing again. in cmd, prompt says error failed to download boot.img

not working with nexus 6 command write failed.

+Josué Miguel García As previously mentioned you should make sure you image/backup unless your media is online and use odin rather than installing from your device as this gives you more options for recovery if you mess up.

Incidentally people talk about bricked/soft bricked devices and the irreparable damage this can cause. Sure it has its problems, however I've never lost a device this way.

Don't forget your handset is an hand held PC with an operating system and therefore can be re-imaged at any point.

Hope this puts your mind at ease.

+Chainfire​​​ works a treat to root note 5 Canadian, but ever since I started testing you system-less root, my device fails to go to deep sleep. Including this release.

When I use old 2.52 and custom kernel it sleeps fine, but whenever from stock, root patches kernel, etc, no deep sleep. 

Always frackin 'tima' shows as wasting battery.

I installed the disable services app and disabled System update and the notifications stopped but then my play store kept saying check your connection so I enabled the system update again and my play store now works but now I am getting the system update notifications again. Is there a way to fix this?

Hi Chainfire I have a samsung Galaxy Note Edge (SM-N915T) and it has the new update on Marshmallow 6.0.1 (N915TUVS2DQG1), I download the new CF Auto root for this ROM but the root process fail and I have to take off the battery and flash the stock firmware back because it fail when flashing CF Auto root using odin on my PC otherwise it stay on the download screen.
