This update is currently rolling out on Google Play.

Just a quick update after the release from two days ago.

Some minor UI thing were corrected.

FBE

On devices using file-based encryption (Pixel, Pixel XL) restoring a backup could clear some files that would lead Android to trigger a factory reset on next reboot. This issue should be solved with this update.

OTA

I've managed to catch a few of the 'O-style' OTAs coming to all Nexus devices shortly (whether you get the old or the new seems to depend on your Google Play Services version) and handling of these should be much improved.

If you got the dreaded "downloading, 0%" dialog, this will probably solve that.

Changelogs

  • OTA: Implement O-style OTA handling (non-streaming)

  • UI: Fix not being able to deselect backup partitions

  • UI: Fix partitions listed multiple times in backups sometimes

  • FBE: Fix wiping encryption files during restore, triggering factory reset

It would be nice if I had Portuguese support

I have questions regarding the use of the application! For example if it is just to update the rom what should I mark or clear the wipe so that I do not lose the data?

It doesn't solve the dreaded 0% problem on Nexus 6p.

Having the downloading 0% problem on Nexus 6 (shamu) too

+Chainfire Hello! In O Google uses new LZ4 for compressing zImage on Pixels. But I can't see where they updated LZ4 decompressor in kernel source to support new format. Could you enlighten me, please?

As an FYI, even though my last couple of OTA updates wouldn't load, the Android 8 update worked perfectly.

There was a sort of residual su functionality left in place, which seems odd. Anyway, downloaded the latest SuperSU and ran that (from TWRP -- can it be run from FlashFire???) and back to normal su functionality.
