This minor update fixes several edge-cases encountered during the rooting process.
There is no immediate need to update from SR3, because if you were experiencing any of the problems fixed, you wouldn't have root :)
The exception is an SELinux policy fix that should only be relevant to Samsung devices running stock Oreo, which I sincerely doubt you are using right now...
This is really just the public ZIP release for fixes to SuperSU that will be incorporated in the upcoming CFAR (CF-Auto-Root) refresh.

Muy Bueno .. very good.. !!!
Dear Chainfire, probably this is not the place to post this but on my Nexus 6p with the latest stock Oreo and have successfully rooted using SU I am unable to make any adb terminal app gain root access. Is this SU related?. Thanks
+Rashad how do you want to know that you're properly rooted when u can't Grant root permissions ? Or is it just the terminal app(s) that don't work but everything else does?
+Patrick J yes everything works fine except for terminal apps. Whenever I type "su" the terminal apps seem to just hang and I don't get the root request like it's suppose to.
Works for me using the TE included in Rom Toolbox Pro by +Jared Rummler
+Steve Вrantley Thx for the recommendation, I installed the lite version and it then asked to install BusyBox by the same developer. Strangely I installed different versions of BusyBox before and I couldn't get the terminal to work back then.
Update: so I tried to uninstall RTL and see if TE would work with the BusyBox just installed. Unfortunately I wasn't successful for now the only way to enjoy the benefits of TE is to use the TE provided by RTL and it works with other BusyBox app.
I can see from SU logs that root has been requested by TE but was denied although I wasn't promoted to grant root.
I want to ask..why I got supersu binary occupied but when i check with root checker pro everything is running well?
