+Major Mike I flashed stock boot images to both slots, booted TWRP, then installed TWRP, rebooted to recovery,then installed sr5 over sr4,rebooted system once, then TWRP flashed suhide 109 over 108. All good.

I have a pixel XL, After you boot new twrp, then you flash the install twrp. Do you need to boot into twrp again to install the new super su and then flash suhide? Or when you boot into twrp, will twrp stick and you can just open twrp as you did before, the normal way. Any help would be appreciated.

I discovered tonight that the new super su. And suhide are downloading corrupted from this site and will not install. I downloaded them from other sources and they worked fine.

Someone who oversees this site should look into this.

+Brijesh Patel Either your imei is corrupted or blocked in the network for being lost/stolen/unpaid bills.

Check your imei by dialing *#06# (should show a valid number)

Also dial *#0011# and look at the bottom of the screen where the imei status should show OK not NG (no good)!!

+Thomas Creutz < Because you didn't FORMAT your internal storage first. You must do that from TWRP (FORMAT not WIPE!!) then install SSU.

+Bill A format internal sd? I use SuperSU for so long and had newer before to format my storage?! Also on the first install with LineageOS I had not to do so? And currently I install LineageOS weekly with TWRP zips.. so it means I should wipe my storage every time?! Really?

Apparently that's what I had to do with my Samsung S7 (G930F) and S8 (G950F), upon initial installation of SSU via TWRP. Keep in mind you only have to do it once during the initial install, and after that you can install all the roms your want without wiping it again.

You may want to back up the internal storage un-encrypted with FlashFire while fully booted, then install TWRP, FORMAT internal storage, install SSU, then once re-booted into Android, do a storage restore via FlashFire. This was you wouldn't loose all your data.

I can't express my respect enough, but 2.82 SR5 has problems with 8.1 especially for Pixel phones. It crashes on sepolicy. CCMT does not react on the problem (see the XDA tread). Can you please ask them to attend the problem once you get back? Your help will be greatly appreciated. Hope you have a great and relaxing vacation.

The version I have installed now is "SuperSU Pro v2.79".

I recently downloaded your su chainfire root for a Galaxy s6 edge running Android 7.0 sm-g928p.. all went well in Odin it passed through. But after rebooting system binary didn't update .. still had stock binary.. but showed root.. I set it back to later come back to while that happen my nephew happen to mess with it.. he got it stock in a boot loop with binary block from ftp I believe is wat it says.. and he also tried a factor reset witch didn't help.. my question is.... How do I fix it???!????? I'm having to use a very slow CPU to do all this with could u send me the links needed to recover it please?????? And the correct binary update for chainfire... Hey, do I need suhide? I'm on a Nexus 5 (rooted, bought from Google Play Store) but in Google Play my phone is uncertified!!

Would suhide fix that for me? I'm still on Android OS 4.4.4 (yeah I know... but this version is so stable and smooth, I can run my phone for 10+ days without having to reboot or power off and then power on).

I'm thinking about getting FlashFire and maybe install a different ROM or do an OTA update. I really wanted the Pixel XL (w/max storage) but I can't see myself paying $1000 for a phone/device! I wanted 2 years after the Nexus 5 came out before I bought it.... SO I COULD AFFORD IT! I paid $400 dollars or so for this phone.

I wish Google would let us buy older phones but they have taken that away now! You can't even buy the Nexus 5X from Google anymore all you can buy from them I'd the Pixel phone!

When the next phone comes out that replaces the Pixel XL they won't go down in price on the Pixel XL they will just quit selling it!

SuperSU v.2.82 SR5 causes some problems at MIUI 9 Android 6.0.

Just after a flashing or a while later the contacts with a photo assigned can not be opened. Some apps can't select a picture from a storage, and a Privat24 app can't scan a QR code.

On a different cases these different apps are crashed with error in a Zygote.
