Most are sayung as it's become a closed source project now , it can't be trusted . Most also complained that many of'em losr root access in some new releases . There's a handful of websites (i mean decent ones) that have articles, from yesterday and today, regarding Chainfire's Retirement from SuperSU.

It's funny on what most of the information being written is reflecting...

Chainfire's still around and there's so much mentality reflecting the "R.I.P." state of mind.

He's not dead... LMAO!!!

I look at it as a moving on point for Chainfire and placing more of his attention to current and future projects.

I'm a little excited to see what the future holds for the Creative Genius (in his own right and category) named Chainfire!

When it comes to SuperSU... I'm still faithful to the development and will keep an open mind but, if the future of it turns grim, then there are plenty of other (very good) developers out there to turn to.

This is just my one and only, personal, thoughts and opinions regarding, what i feel, is a "Blown out of Proportion" mindset of so many (not all) individuals.

+Hacker Nub If you format the device, you'll lose everything (so it's a bad idea unless you really know what you're doing). Unless of course you mean factory reset, in which case, you'll only lose the root if it's systemless (I doubt it considering you're asking here which means you're probably using SuperSU, which isn't systemless).

In short, no, factory resetting your phone won't unroot the device unless you're running a systemless root.

I am so frustrated and like to pull my hair out I cannot root ZTE somebody please help me I've tried kingroot,kingrootz,superuser, towelroot I tried it all .I'm using Lucky Patcher for my games but there I'm still limited,I'd like to get the ZTE rooted and been trying for weeks. Saludos a todos, soy nuevo y hace 1 semana rotie mi tabla canaima y me daba un mensaje en alguna aplicación de que la aplicación se ha detenido, por lo tanto opté por hacerle una restauración y fue fatal porque perdí la aplicación de descarga y ahora no puedo descargar por internet nada porque se sale, lo que puedo es ver, ni siquiera puedo descargar un gestor de archivo, ya que también perdí la aplicación de bazar canaima.
