Just saw this on twitter (which by itself is weird, is I hardly ever go there):
There's a new BETA version (2.50) of my HD2/Leo 3D Driver Patch out. I need some non-stock-ROM, Expo, TG-01 and S200/F1 testers :)
While testing some pages that were supposed to cached for five minutes in Firefox (3.6.3, Win32) we noticed the pages weren't being cached properly. It seemed Firefox would only cache the page once, in other words, reload the page every other request. After some more investigation it seems to be once every second, though I'm honestly not 100% sure that is exactly what happens.
For a couple of new web projects we are looking at CakePHP. One of my employees suggested it as he has some experience with it, and it has a good reputation as MVC framework. We did look at other frameworks, but looking at the benchmark others did they do not really differ that much in speed, so we decided to use the framework at least one of us has some prior experience with.
Version 2.0 of my HD2 3D driver patch has been released. This version brings full configuration of the driver settings (+ UI).
WMLongLife has been updated to v0.66. The only changes are a small bugfix regarding background connections and the removal of the timebomb.
Tired of downloading password protected RARs from usenet? nzbSCAN may be of assistance. Been sitting on this for a while, though it is far from finished you might like it already.
Today (March 12) mmTask 1.2 was released on Marketplace. 1.0 had been available for a while, but still had some issues - as some of the comments on Marketplace also state.
As Marketplace does not produce very useful reports, I created my own report parser for it. I've been using it for months now, thought I would share. It isn't exactly user friendly to set up, but once it's up and running it is very handy.
Only the basic GSensor calls are supported (polling), none of the advanced HTCSensorSDK stuff. This means that while some apps will work, some will not. Boing and Diamond Hologram do work, though!
